Cortijo for companies near Seville: midweek team meetings and retreats for up to 30 people

Cortijo Los Tomillares sits in Guadalcanal, in the heart of the Sierra Norte de Sevilla Natural Park, 1 h 15 min from Seville. From Monday to Thursday, September to June, we rent it whole to companies that want to take their team out of the office for a day or two: team meetings, leadership retreats, strategy days, offsites, training or onboarding new people.

Why it works for a team

  • Quiet and zero distractions: 250 private hectares, no neighbours and no other guests: the cortijo is just for your team.
  • Room to work: living-dining room with fireplace, covered porch and terraces, WiFi across the estate, 60" Smart TV in the living room.
  • Room to switch off: billiards, table football, ping pong, darts, gym, 13x8 m infinity pool (in season) and the farm.
  • Kitchen for 30 with wood-fired oven, stone barbecue, griddle and paella pan: the team dinner happens at home.
  • Private parking inside the estate and invoice in the company's name.

What we are not

We are not a hotel or an events venue: there is no catering, no equipped meeting room and no staff at the house. It's the whole cortijo for your team, with everything you need to sleep, work and eat together. Food comes from the provider you choose (or we recommend local people) and activities are organised by you or your agency, with local guides if you like.

Where it is

Price and booking

€900 one night, €1,300 two nights and €1,600 three nights (VAT included) for the whole cortijo, Monday to Thursday, September to June (except bank holidays and special dates). Arrive and leave whenever suits you. To book, 50 % by bank transfer and the rest also by transfer before arrival, invoiced to your company. Available dates in the calendar.

Frequently asked questions

How many people can stay?
Up to 30: 9 double bedrooms + a loft (room for about 12 children or, in an adult group, about 8 more people). 2 of the bedrooms are en-suite and there are 4 full bathrooms. The whole cortijo is always rented to a single group, so the team has it to themselves.
Which days can we book?
Monday to Thursday, September to June (weekends and summer are for leisure groups). Usually 2 days with one night or 3 days with two nights, arriving and leaving whenever suits you.
Is there a meeting room?
It isn't a conference centre: you work in the living-dining room with fireplace, on the covered porch or outdoors, with WiFi across the estate (a rural connection: fine for email and everyday work; if you plan group video calls, ask us first) and a 60" Smart TV in the living room. For a team meeting, a leadership retreat or a strategy day it is more than enough; if you need a projector, screen or sound system for a training session, bring it or ask your agency.
What about food?
The cortijo has no catering or staff of its own. There is a kitchen equipped for 30 with a wood-fired oven, barbecue and paella pan, so you can bring the caterer or events company of your choice. If you prefer, we can put you in touch with a local cook who cooks at the house (booked separately), the Guadalcanal supermarket can leave your shopping in the kitchen before you arrive, and there are restaurants in Guadalcanal and Cazalla de la Sierra 10-30 minutes away.
Are there team activities?
On the estate: walks and bike rides across 250 private hectares, the farm (goat milking, egg collecting) and one of the best night skies in Spain (Starlight reserve). Local guides offer stargazing, hiking, mountain biking, climbing at Cerro del Hierro or kayaking: we'll put you in touch and you book them directly.
Can you invoice the company?
Yes, an invoice in the company's name with VAT included in the price.

€900 for one night (two working days), €1,300 for two nights and €1,600 for three nights, VAT included, invoiced to your company. The price is for the whole cortijo, not per person, and includes everything: bed linen, towels, heating or air conditioning, WiFi and firewood.
