Booking terms and conditions

1. Purpose and acceptance

These conditions govern bookings and stays at Cortijo Los Tomillares, located in Parque Natural de Sierra Morena - Sevilla (the "property"), managed by Cerro de la Escolástica, S.L.. Requesting and confirming a booking implies full acceptance of these conditions, without prejudice to any particular conditions stated in the booking confirmation, which prevail in case of discrepancy.

2. Booking and confirmation

Bookings are requested through the contact form, by email at info@cortijolostomillares.com or by phone. A booking is not final until the owner confirms it in writing and the deposit has been paid. The owner reserves the right not to accept a booking request.

3. Price, deposit and payment

To confirm a booking, a deposit of 50% of the total price of the stay is paid. The remaining 50% is paid within the period stated in the booking confirmation. The deposit secures the dates and is deducted from the total price. Prices include applicable taxes.

4. Cancellation policy

If the guest cancels, the 50% deposit paid is non-refundable, as the dates are blocked exclusively for them. However, if the owner manages to rent the property again for the same dates, the deposit will be refunded in proportion to the dates covered by the new booking.

If the owner has to cancel the booking due to force majeure, all amounts paid will be refunded in full, with no further compensation.

5. Security deposit and damage

The owner may request a security deposit against possible damage; the amount is stated in the booking confirmation. It is returned after checkout once the condition of the property has been verified, less, where applicable, the cost of repairing or replacing anything damaged during the stay.

6. Check-in and checkout

Check-in is from 17:00 and checkout is by 11:00. Any change to these times must be agreed with the owner in advance and is subject to availability.

7. Occupancy and use of the property

• Maximum occupancy is 30 guests. The limit may not be exceeded without the owner's express authorization.
• The property is for vacation and leisure use only; parties, events or activities that disturb the neighborhood are not allowed without express authorization.
• The guest agrees to take proper care of the property and to respect quiet hours and community rules.
• Whether pets are allowed is stated on the property page and must be confirmed when booking.

8. Liability

The owner is not liable for guests' personal belongings or for any loss or damage arising from improper use of the property. The guest named on the booking is responsible for any damage caused by everyone staying during the stay.

9. Right of withdrawal

Under article 103.l) of the Spanish consolidated General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, accommodation services for a specific date or period are excluded from the right of withdrawal. Cancellations are therefore governed by the policy described in clause 4.

10. Complaints and applicable law

Official complaint forms are available to guests. For any complaint you can write to info@cortijolostomillares.com. These conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts with jurisdiction under applicable law.

The processing of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Use of the website https://www.cortijolostomillares.com is governed by the Legal Notice. This is a translation for convenience; the Spanish version prevails in case of discrepancy.
